This professional English language theatre company celebrates its 20th season in 2008 and is known for its high-energy, entertaining shows. Sackville Early Music Festival

Mount Allison University Recitals

During the school year, the students of the Department of Music perform, Colloquia Musicua (mini student recitals) in the University's Brunton Auditorium on Monday afternoons. Admission is free. Owens Art Gallery

Colville House

106 York Street Open 7 July to 31 August Every day from 1 to 5 p.m. Colville House Colville House, on the Mount Allison University campus , was the home of renowned Canadian artist and Mount Allison alumnus and teacher Alex Colville, his wife Rhoda, and their four children from the 1940s to 1973. This summer, for the first time, Colville House is open to the public and there is no admission charge. The house includes full-colour reproductions of Colville’s paintings, works on paper that relate to Mount Allison and the local area, films on the artist and his work, and an online photo scrapbook. Visitors to Colville House will be provided with annotated maps that guide them onto the campus and out into the community to the sites of Colville’s works in Sackville and environs.

Established in 1982, the centre is dedicated to the presentation of local, regional and national contemporary artist-initiated activities including exhibitions, performances, workshops, screenings, residencies and symposia. Struts Gallery also maintains a Media co-op for members to produce digital video works.

One of the finest small private galleries in the Maritimes, Fog Forest has been dedicated to the exhibition and sale of original artworks by professional artists and craftspeople of Eastern Canada since 1984. The Gallery boasts a fine selection of works by Atlantic Canada's finest painters, printmakers, sculptors, photographers and artisans. Monthly solo/ group/ themed exhibitions are ongoing year round. The Craft Gallery

A local artisan-run craft shop featuring unique creations produced by its members and juried consignors. Its unique selection of quality handcrafts, including pottery, jewelry, creative stitchery, knitting, patchwork, hand-painted silk, hand-made soap, crochet and stained glass make it a "must see" in Sackville. The local art association also has works for sale.
