Sackville Businessman Wins Entrepreneur of the Year

Drew Fraser, President of Can-Tech Construction, Sackville Carwash Inc and Can-Tech Construction-Rentals receives the Raymond LeBlanc Excellence Award as South-East New Brunswick's Entrepreneur of the Year, October 18, 2007
Mr. Fraser was honoured by the award presented at the 2007 Entrepreneurchip Gala in Memramcook. The Gala, organized by Enterprise South East and the Community Business Development Corporation for Westmorland-Albert, recognizes excellence and success of regional entrepreneurs.
Mr. Fraser has been in business in Sackville for more than 20 years. His company, Can-Tech Construction, designs and builds homes and apartment complexes. He is known in the region for his quality work and energy efficient homes. Mr. Fraser also operates car-washes in Sackville, and Saint John.
This is not the first time Mr. Fraser has been recognized for his success and talent. Recently, the Greater Moncton Home Builder's Association awarded Mr. Fraser with the Home Builder of the Year Award.
Sackville Mayor Jamie Smith says: "It was a proud moment for our community to see Mr. Fraser honoured at the Entrepreneurship Gala. He has an excellent reputation as a builder and businessman. Sackville is very fortunate to have a builder of his calibre, influencing attractive and efficient housing development in our community."
