OK.Quoi?! Contemporary Arts Festival

OK.Quoi?! is an interdisciplinary festival of contemporary art, focusing on video, audio, new and independent music. The festival is produced by Struts Gallery & Faucet Media Arts Centre in partnership with Motion Ensemble, Sappy Records and CHMA 106.9 FM. The works of over 40 artists will be presented over 6 days in a variety of screeings, concerts, broadcasts and on the world wide web. Alongside exciting international and national work, OK.Quoi?! features new and innovative projects from local and regional artists. Local radio station and partner host a fabulous breakfast for participating artists, performers and volunteers. Also, come take a look around at the Record Fair and Farmers’ Market.

After working hard for the week the kids debut their new songs for the crowd.

The Little Beauty Tour 2008
Alexandra Flood and Darren Emenau
Parked right next to the Mainstage will be a customized bowler trailer, “Little Beauty”, where Alexandra Flood and Darren Emenau will be showing new paintings and hosting interactive activities for festival-goers of all ages. Stop by any time during the weekend to look around and say hi.

The Very Last Chance for Summer Romance
Outdoor Concert & Closing Reception
This event will feature a BBQ and musical performances by Shotgun Jimmie (Sackville), Calm Down It’s Monday (Sackville-Montreal), Elfin Saddle (Montreal), Adam and the Amethysts (Montreal), Katie Stelmanis (Toronto), Old Man Luedecke (Halifax), Chad Van Gaalen (Calgary), and Attack in Black (Welland). A beer garden will be on site and the concert will continue on into SappyFest.
