In honour of Live Bait's 20th Anniversary and with the generous support of Canadian Heritage and the Cultural Capitals program, Live Bait is pleased to launch the book "Hooked on a Feeling: 20 Years of Live Bait" by J. Alexander Burnett, designed by Leslie Van Patter. The launch will include entertainment featuring excepts from this season's shows, readings from the books, reminiscences from some of Live Bait's supporters and a video retrospective of the company's 20 year history. The book will be available on this night at a reduced price. Regular sale price will be $25, but on the evening of the launch (or if preordered on or before June 25) the price will be $20. Refreshments will be served. Admission is free, but please call 536 2248 to reserve a seat.
PARC will be hosting its annual Playwrights' Colony and Retreat. Visiting and resident playwrights from across the Region will work with a team of professional actors and dramaturges to facilitate the development of new works for the stage.
