MTA Performing Art Series

Mount Allison Performing Arts Series presents the Cecilia String Quartet with pianist David Rogosin, Saturday, October 23, 2010, 8:00 pm, Brunton Auditorium, M.Y.B. Conservatory of Music, 134 Main Street.

Extraordinary critical acclaim has greeted this young ensemble, recently in residence at McGill University and winners of the 2010 Prix de la Sacem at the International String Quartet Competition in Bordeaux, France. This concert is being held in conjunction with the Department of Music’s Schumann Symposium marking the 200th anniversary of the composer’s birth. Joining them on piano in Schumann’s celebrated Quintet in Eb is Mount Allison’s own David Rogosin.
