Exhibition Thaddeus Holownis Opening Receiption

This summer marks the 250th Anniversary of the Township of Sackville NB and to celebrate this event, Fog Forest Gallery and well known Canadian photographer and long time Tantramar resident Thaddeus Holownia will present an exhibit of fourteen photographs entitled, "Tantramar - Photograph as Historical Artifact". These works, taken over a thirty year period, document some of the changes that have taken place in the Tantramar area.

This exhibition opens with a public reception on Saturday, July 21 from 10:30 am - noon. Please drop by for a visit. This exhibition continues until August 4, 2012.

In 2000, Thaddeus Holownia was elected to the Royal Canadian Academy of Arts, received a Fulbright Fellowship in 2001, and has earned awards from the Canada Council for the Arts, the New Brunswick Arts Board, the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council. His works have been included in solo and group exhibitions across Canada, Mexico and Europe. He is currently professor and head of the Fine Arts Department at Mount Allison University.
