TFRC Program - Sackville Sprouts

The Tantramar Family Resource Centre presents Sackville Sprouts: A garden club for children ags six to ten. Children under six are able to attend, however, must be accompanied by an adult. The event is being held at the Sackville Community Garden, Charles Street on Tuesday mornings, from June 26th - August 28th, 9:30 am - 11:30 am. Pre-registration is required; to register contact 939-8372.

This is a FREE Program. All are welcome!

Lillas Fawcett Park Summer Activities

Town of Sackville Department of Community Development and Programming: One of our activities includes helping young children become more comfortable in the water. The Lifeguards will teach basic swim skills. This will take place every Tuesday starting July 10th. Kids lessons will be from 11:30am - 12:00pm and Adults beginner lessons from 5:30pm - 6:00pm. weather permitting

This will be on a first come first serve basis. Limited Space.

Parents / Guardians are required to stay on the premises during the sessions.

CHMA 106.9 FM Orientation

Want to find out more about independent radio and how to get involved? CHMA is a not-for-profit, member-owned, campus/community radio station serving the greater Tantramar Region. We host orientation sessions every Tuesday at 4 pm in the CHMA offices located on the third floor of the Wallace McCain Student Centre, 62 York Street. Sackville Legion Bingo

Sackville Legion Bingo, every Tuesday evening at the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 26, 15 Lorne Street, 6:45 pm. Door open at 6:00 pm. No person under 16 years of age.

Festival by the Marsh

Festival by the Marsh, July 22 - August 18th. 2012 marks a return of one of Southeast New Brunswick's largest and best loved summer festivals - the full-scale Festival by the Marsh - this year with a theme of Back to the Future. This theme was chosen because 2012 will see a return to the format of fully produced plays, the Marsh Music Fest (featuring jazz, blues, and folk music), a two day KIDS FEST, a drama workshop, and other activities, all stretched over four weeks in July and August.

  • July 23-25 - A Mid Summer Night's Dream at the Mount Allison Swan Pond, 128 Main Street, produced by Moncton's Hubcity Theatre
  • July 26-29 - Toad of Toad Hall presented by Sackville's Performers Company Theatre group
  • July 22-August 18 - The Marsh Music Fest; folk, jazz and blues concerts
  • July 23-27 - Drama Wokshops
  • August 8-11, 15-18 - The Little Prince presented by Will O' the Wisp Productions
  • August 11-12 - Kids Fest; concerts, plays, the Tool Collector Show and Family Fun Day and many other activities for children and families
  • August 11 - Drama Workshop
