TFRC Family Games Day

Tantramar Family Resource Centre`s Family Games Day, Sunday, May 27th, from 1:00 - 3:00 pm, 9A Willow Lane.

Tree Planting Techniques

The Tantramar Family Resource Centre and Community Forests International will be hosting a tree-planting ectravaganza on Sunday, May 27th from 1 - 4 pm at Beech Hill Park, Walker Road.

Kids, their caregivers and individuals can learn how to plant trees, play games, and enjoy a BBQ and win prizes.

Workshop & Performance by DB Boyko & Christine Duncan

Struts Gallery & Faucet Media Arts Centre, 7 Lorne Street, presenting a Workshop and Performance by DB Boyko and Christine Duncan. the Workshop and Performance are each $10, $7 for students. Workshop begins at 2pm. Performance time TBA.

The show on May 27 will feature vocalists DB Boyko and Christine Duncan. Renowned singers and improvisers, the duo will perform a work by BC composer Christopher Butterfield entitled “Stall”, based on the sounds and reverberations of a public washroom. They will also perform improvised music and will present a collaborative work with an improv. Choir made up of Sackville community members.

To be part of the improv. choir, come out to the improv. workshop hosted by DB and Christine on Sunday, May 27 at 2 pm. This workshop is open to all and will highlight singing in a communal, free and open way, and will be lots of fun!
