12th Annual Dave MacAulay 5-K Folly

The 12th Annual Dave MacAulay 5-K Folly is being held Sunday, May 13th, 10:00 am starting at the Mount Allison Athletic Centre, York Street.

The Folly is open to all ages who are able to propel themselves by walking, jogging, hopping or running around the 5 km course. There is no registration fee, however everyone is asked to register from 9:00 am -9:45 am on race day for insurance purposes.

Refreshments (supplied by the Kookie Kutter) and awards presentations will follow the race.

Mount Allison University's Department of Music Convocation Weekend Recital: Performances by students and faculty of the Department of Music. The event is being held in Brunton Auditorium, MYB Conservatory of Music, 134 Main Street, 2:00 pm.

Struts Artist in Residence Kristen Atkins

Struts Gallery & Faucet Media Arts Centre presents Ease Down the Road artist in residence Kristen Atkins, May 13th - June 10th. Struts Gallery is located at 7 Lorne Street.

While in Residence, Halifax artist Kristen Atkins will set up a work space and printing all of her computer matter and organizing it into a visual sculpture. This sculpture will go through text redaction process based primarily on Bill C-30/Lawful Access Bill. She will work on managing and investigating her own personal data.
