TFRC Storytent

Storytent takes place every Monday from 2-4 pm (located beside the library) in partnership with the Public Library, 66 Main Street). Come read and sing under the tent top.

Clay Bird Shotgun Shoot

The Sackville Rod & Gun Club are holding Clay Bird Shotgun Shoots every Monday evening at 6:00 pm, June - September at the club's private shotgun range, located at 32 Landing Road, Sackville.

Summer Evening Pot Luck & Paddle

Tantramar Outdoor Club, summer activity at the lake: Summer evening pot luck and paddle

Everyone is invited to gather at the Lillas Fawcett Rotary park, Silver Lake, for a picnic pot luck supper. Following supper, those interested can go for a paddle on the lake.

We are going to be there two evenings: Tuesday, July 17, starting at 6:15 and Monday, July 23 at 6:15pm. (if raining, consider it canceled for that evening.)

Please bring: Your contribution to the pot luck picnic with serving utensils:

  • Your own beverages
  • Your own dishes and cutlery
  • Lawn chair *Your watercraft to paddle in

Festival by the Marsh

Festival by the Marsh, July 22 - August 18th. 2012 marks a return of one of Southeast New Brunswick's largest and best loved summer festivals - the full-scale Festival by the Marsh - this year with a theme of Back to the Future. This theme was chosen because 2012 will see a return to the format of fully produced plays, the Marsh Music Fest (featuring jazz, blues, and folk music), a two day KIDS FEST, a drama workshop, and other activities, all stretched over four weeks in July and August.

  • July 23-25 - A Mid Summer Night's Dream at the Mount Allison Swan Pond, 128 Main Street, 7:00 pm, produced by Moncton's Hubcity Theatre
  • July 26-29 - Toad of Toad Hall presented by Sackville's Performers Company Theatre group
  • July 22-August 18 - The Marsh Music Fest; folk, jazz and blues concerts
  • July 23-27 - Drama Wokshops
  • August 9-11, 15-18 - The Little Prince presented by Will O' the Wisp Productions
  • August 11-12 - Kids Fest; concerts, plays, the Tool Collector Show and Family Fun Day and many other activities for children and families
  • August 11 - Drama Workshop
