Tantramar Family Resource Centre: Baby Massage

The Tantramar Family Resource Centre is hosting Baby Massage , Monday mornings from 10:00 am - 11:30 am, June 4th - July 16th at the Visitor Information Centre, 34 Mallard Drive.

Bring your pre-crawling infant to learn simple message techniques that foster communication, as well as calm and nurture the infant's development.

Pre-registration is required. Contact the Tantramar Family Resource Centre at 939-8372. This program is FREE.

Struts Gallery - Ease Down the Road

Struts Gallery & Faucet Media Arts Centre, 7 Lorne Street presents Ease Down the Road artist-in-residence Tegan Moore, July 2 - July 18.

While in residence at Faucet the artist will be setting up a project space under the name Flotsam GIF Shop, functioning as a participatory space for both display and production. This shifting space will share the likeness of a museum display or a souvenir gift shop, but will display a collection of foam debris. Visitors can either browse the collection or choose to use the material in an animation. Participants will select the items they want to animate, and will work with the artist to create a short looped stop motion GIF file. As the animations are produced they will be exhibited on a monitor in the gallery on the main floor. Tampering with expectations of aesthetic values, Flotsam GIF Shop welcomes your gaze, gander, and handiwork.
