Spring Clean-up

TOWN OF SACKVILLE 2012 SPRING CLEAN-UP

This year our Annual Spring Clean-up will be held during the week of May 7th to May 11th, 2012. Citizens are encouraged to clean up their properties and have waste materials hauled away at this time.

RESIDENTS ARE REQUESTED TO HAVE THEIR GARBAGE PLACED AT CURBSIDE THE DAY BEFORE THEIR REGULAR GARBAGE COLLECTION DAY

Items that will be picked up in addition to normal household garbage: bagged leaves, furniture, appliances, tree limbs no longer than 4 feet neatly tied in bundles (not entire trees) and construction debris up to 50 kg.

Items that will not be picked up: cars and car parts, construction materials/debris, trees, brush, or Household Hazardous Wastes, or items from apartments greater than 4 units (currently not receiving municipal pick-up).

Exhibition Drawer 22

Exhibition Drawer 22, at the Owens Art Gallery, 61 York Street.

This exhibition consists of all the artworks store in drawer 22 of the Owens vault. Drawer 22 takes into consideration elements of luck, chance and exploration and reflects how institutions develop systems of organization and storage for constantly expanding collections.
