GSCC Golf Tournament
The Greater Sackville Chamber of Commerce 19th Annual Golf Tournament, will be held Thursday, August 19th, at the Sackville Golf & Country Club.Rain Date August 20, 2010.
Registration 9:00 am / Shotgun start 9:30 am.
Cost: Member team of four $275, non-member team of four $300, member single player $75, non-member single player $80. Includes green fees, lunch, and supper at the golf club. Lots of prizes, fun golf challenges and silent auction.
Hole-In-One prizes include: $10,000 from Sears Insurance, lawn tractor from Payzant Home Hardware, and $10,000 credit from Rod Allen Company.

Tikes and Hikes Walking Club
The Tikes and Hikes Walking Club meets each Thursday morning at 10:00 am, weather permitting, at the Tantramar Family Resource Centre, 9A Willow Lane, Sackville.
All parents, caregivers and their children are invited to participate in this opportunity for fresh air, fun and physical activity while getting to know other families on a hike around town.

Tantramar Family Resource Centre Exploring Our History - Youth Workshops
- August 5th - Fun with Ggames of Yesteryear, glider races, red rover, spirograph and more!
- August 12th - Traditional Crafts, knitting, paper boxes, willow whistles, and more!
- August 19th - My Backyard History, explore your roots and be an amateur historian!
All workshops will take place at the Tantramar Family Resource Centre, 9A Willow Lane, from 10:00 am - 3:00 pm (early drop-off at 9:00 am).

Concert in the Park
Concerts in the Park, is a FREE concert, held every Thursday evening (weather permitting) at the bandstand, 70 Main Street, featuring local talent.
This week the performer will be the Sackville Citizens Band.

Live Bait Theatre - Harvest
Live Bait Theatre Mainstage production of Harvest by Ken Cameron, at the Live Bait Theatre, 87 Main Street, 8:00 pm, August 12-15 and August 17-22, doors open at 7:30 pm. Saturday Matinees, August 14th and August 21st at 2:00 pm, doors open at 1:30 pm.
Based on a true story of a couple who nearly lost their savings when a nice young man turned their family farm into something not quite legit.
