MTA Fine Arts Show & Sale

Mount Allison University's Fine Arts Society will host a Fine Arts Show & Sale, Friday, March 19th, from 9:00 am - 5:00 pm, and Saturday, March 20th, from 10:00 am - 4:00 pm. The event will be held in Tweedie Hall, Wallace McCain Student Centre, 62 York Street, and will showcase artist's work from Mount Allison's Fine Arts Department.

The show will feature hundreds of pieces of artwork from 36 student artists. All items are available for purchase.

The show is open to the public and is FREE of charge.

Legion Luncheon

The Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 26, Sackville will be holding a Luncheon at the Branch, 15 Lorne Street, Friday, March 19th, from 11:00 am - 1:00 pm.

Menu: boiled dinner, dessert, tea/coffee. Cost $7.00 per plate.

Mount Allison Symphonic Band

Mount Allison University Department of Music presents the Mount Allison Symphonic Band, directed by Wesley Ferreira, performing Shades Blue, Friday, March 19th, 8:00 pm at Convocation Hall, 37 York Street.

The concert is FREE of charge and open to the public.

Musical-25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee

This year Black Tie Production is producing the Tony award-winning musical The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, March 17 - March 20th, 8:00 pm at the Live Bait Theatre, 87 Main Street; matinee Saturday, March 20th, at 2:00 pm.

Six quirky middle school spelling bee contestants battle for the title of Putnam County Spelling Bee Champ (mature content).

Tickets $12.00 each, students/seniors $8.00. Available at Tidewater Books, Live Bait Theatre and at the door or reserve tickets online (above link).
