Live Bait Young Company Program

Live Bait Theatre offers workshops and theatre sessions for young people aged 7-17. This years Young Company Program runs from Monday, August 11 to Saturday, August 16, daily from 9:00 am - 3:00 pm. There will be a public performance on the afternoon, Saturday, August 16. Mount Allison Children's Day Camp

Join us for a summer science, arts, music and sports camp, Monday, July 21 - Friday, July 25 from 9:00 am - 4:00 pm, for boys and girls entering grades 2, 3, and 4. The day camp activities are conducted by Mount Allison University faculty, staff and students. The campers will participate in hands-on science activites, creative arts, music and sports. Artists Exhibition

Fog Forest Gallery in Sackville New Brunswick is pleased to feature a group exhibition celebrating artists who live in Sackville. The exhibition entitled, Some of Our Own continues until August 30, 2008. Fog Forest Gallery is located at 14 Bridge Street in downtown Sackville. This exhibition includes paintings by Peter Manchester, Andrea Mortson, Rebecca Burke, Choleena Di Tullio, John Murchie and Donna Rawlins Sharpe. The two printmakers included in this show are Dan Steeves and Erik Edson. Thaddeus Holownia's photographs are striking examples of our local landscape and landmarks. Kip Jones has presented two sculptural works and John Crawford is represented by a cherry wood and glass table. Patty Chasse is a remarkable weaver and the exhibit contains silk, cotton and linen - hand woven scarves, shawls and blankets. Sari LaBelle's jewellry is delicate and finely crafted as are the complex and exciting porcelain works of Margaret Ann Capper Galbraith. Peggy Sue Payne has presented three colourful and funky hooked rugs on the theme of flowers.

Struts Noon BBQ & Concert

Sackville Public Library Summer Activities

On Friday, August 15 the Sackville Public Library will be having Wackey Weather, for ages 4 - 10, from 1:30 - 2:30 pm. Pre-registration is required for this activity.

The summer activites are free and take place at the library, located at 66 Main Street.
