Live Bait Young Company Program

Live Bait Theatre offers workshops and theatre sessions for young people aged 7-17. This years Young Company Program runs from Monday, August 11 to Saturday, August 16, daily from 9:00 am - 3:00 pm. There will be a public performance on the afternoon, Saturday, August 16. Mount Allison Children's Day Camp

Join us for a summer science, arts, music and sports camp, Monday, July 21 - Friday, July 25 from 9:00 am - 4:00 pm, for boys and girls entering grades 2, 3, and 4. The day camp activities are conducted by Mount Allison University faculty, staff and students. The campers will participate in hands-on science activites, creative arts, music and sports. Sackville Public Library Summer Activities

On Thursday, August 14 the Sackville Public Library will be having a Sackville Olympics, for ages 4 - 10, from 1:30 pm - 3:00 pm.

The summer activites are free and take place at the library, located at 66 Main Street.

MTA Public Seminar

Four Mount Allison students doing research under Dr. Khashyer Ghandi's supervision were awarded partical financial support to attended an international conference, during July, in Tsukuba,Japan.

Each of the students had to present a poster. Although each student's research was quite different, all the researches can be categorized in the field of physical chemestry and chemical physics with applications in green chemistry and environmental chemistry. All of the presentations from our university were very well received and one member of the group winning the best poster award.

We would like to invite the public to a 40-50 minute educational and fun presentation and discussion on Thursday, August 14th, 4:00 pm at the Wu Centre to share the experiences of travelling to Japan and attending an international conference. The title of the seminar is Going the farthest possible distance to learn and to educate.

Concert in the Park

Main Street Redevelopment Inc. presents Concert in the Park series, Thursday evenings, throughout July and August at 6:30 pm, at the Bandstand, 70 Main Street.
