The Sackville Affordable Housing Group (SAHG), a volunteer group of concerned citizens is hosting a Public Forum on Thursday, June 5th to guage support and interest in more affordable housing options for Sackville. There are two open meetings scheduled at the Sackville United Church, one from 2:00 - 4:00 pm and the second session is from 7:00 - 9:00 pm. All interested residents are invited to join SAHG on June 5th to express your interest and support for more affordable housing in Sackville.
The Sackville Art Association will be holding its Annual General Meeting on June 5th beginning at 2pm at the Tantramar Veterans Memorial Civic Centre, 182 Main Street (upstairs). Existing members are welcomed to come and enjoy the afternoon. Non-members are welcomed to join the group as well. Come and see what being a member of the Sackville Art Association is about! Refreshments will be served and a critique will also be part of the afternoon, so remember to bring a piece! This will be the last get together for the Association until the end of summer and marks the temporary hiatus of the Thursday Painters group as well, until September 2008.
